In Lilian Jackson Braun's 26th "Cat Who" novel, the intrepid Koko and her pal Yum Yum are still helping Jim Owilleran solve crimes after nearly 40 years on the job. This time, the plot involves a town bicentennial, a somewhat bizarre radio show, and a flock of wild turkeys. As always, the cats save the day, and the comic and fanciful details of town life in Moose County provide a large part of the novel's charm. |
